AFC Spotted Cow 1 - 0 Burridge AFC

Sunday 30th April
Paulsgrove

The ecombination of the last game of the season and internet restrictions at work has left me with a nasty case of writers block. But, in a nutshell: Bryn had another head injury (he ' always had problems with his head). Then Burridge continued to battle away gamely and produced another chances in the game to have taken something. Spotted Cow got the only goal of the game mid way through the second half.

PS Well done to Nick Sadler of the ressies who made the crucial save in the Hants Cup Final penalty shoot out, well done.

4-4-2: D.Hopkins, M.Sanderson, P.Dyke, K.Willsher, M.Sanderson, G.Baker (P.Andrews), R.Allan, S.Burnet, L.Fielder, B.Schwodler (J.Schwodler), R.Bryant

Come on Guys, are we still hanging over from Sunday? Its too quiet for my liking!

Disappointing end to the season, although we were beaten by the best team in the league in my opinion. Still im optimistic for next season, just need to be more consistent and get mean as Scotty likes to say. Scoring more goals has to be a priority also, we only netted something like 30 all season.

That includes people like myself chipping in, will have to improve on my dismal total this season, but don't wont't be hard!

I haven't netted since May 2004! A header that appeared to have won us the game against the then named Waterlooville Jubilee, in a mid week game at Titchfield Rec.

yeah, we need someone like henry upfront that can guarantee 25+ goals a season. a high scoring centre-mid like lampard that we know will score 10+ and a centre back that will bang in a few, like terry. if we get that, we'll be fine.

villa need a 'gerrard' or 'kaka' type player in their mid-field as well. or a 'rooney' or 'ronaldinho' upfront, then they'll be a bit better too.

Yeah i remember that game Sandy, i took the limelight away from what would have been your winning goal by conceding a last minute penalty, nevermind hey!

Sad day for saints, Pahars has been told they no longer need him, end of an era!

My sources tell me that he walked up to the Northam End and received a repturous reception after the game. Not only did he save our skins at the Dell, but he was always our main threat before Beattie's development. I'll always remember him nut-megging Stam before scoring in the 3-3 draw at Old Trafford.

My favourite Pahars goal was against Derby at the Dell, he wacked one in left-footed from about 30 yards into the top corner, great goal! I read he was in tears when Burley told him they no longer needed him.

Oh Christ, there go our Euro '08 qualifying hopes. It'll be like the dark old days of Turnip Head. The new look Ing-a-Lund, will represent McClaren's delusional hair: Solid at the back, wispy at the front, but nothing in the middle. I can see it now - Crouch alone up front, assisted by also rans like Jenas. Shoot me.

So Mark played left and right back on sunday, impressive! Although i would question whether he was actually playing either of these positions.
