ENGLAND WIN ASHES 2-1

On the left is a picture of England the last time they won the Ashes in 1986. Here we are in 2005, finally winning them back after a 2-1 series win.

What a test series. These are guys who want to play for England in their chosen sport unlike the English football team. Pietersen's innings was one of the best ever seen. Freddie Flintoff looked liked he enjoyed the celebrations, he was up all night drinking G&T's.

Yes, fabulous, although the fannying aroung at the end was starting to vex me something rotten - was it really necessary for the umpires to take so long coming to a decision that was so easy to make?

Dont get me wrong I enjoyed the series but personally i think its all a bit over the top considering the contest is only between 2 teams, hardly like winning the world cup or anything is it.

Don't be just a killjoy! I can understand Lee, he doesn't understand alot of things, including how to play right-back, 'the easiet position on the pitch' or something.

you're right mark, i don't understand a lot of things.

i don't understand how so many of our team can't pass a 10yd ball to feet, and i don't understand why so many of our team are so slow, and i dont understand why so many of our team can't collect passes, that i have to collect EVERY single game and EVERY single training session, and i don't understand why so many of our team panic when they've got the ball.

you see, i just don't understand...
