Burridge AFC 4 - 0 Ranville Rangers

Sunday 22nd January
Allotment Road

Burridge were all over this lot like chicken pocks from the opening whistle. Quite how it was only one - nil at half time was anyone's guess. Ross Bryant turned his man and drilled home the first. In the second half Rich Allan tapped home after Danny Baker Christmas video fare defending from Ranville; involving their goalkeeper's clearance cannoning off a defender's arse straight towards goal. Burridge substitutes then got on the act. Lee Fielder's cross evaded the keeper for three and Paul Andrews' emphatic last minute finish made it conclusive.

4-4-2: Kristian Hewitt, Luke Sanderson, Paul Dyke, Kev Willsher, Mark Sanderson, Jay Schwodler, Greg Baker (Paul Andrews), Scott Burnet, Bryn Schwodler (Lee Fielder), Rich Allan, Ross Bryant.

i like this organisation. on yesterdays game, personally, i quite enjoyed it. just knowing that we were stronger, faster and better all over the pitch gave me great satisfaction, especially as we were playing cocky pompey lads. it seemed soooooooooooooo easy. all we have to do is keep it simple...

Yeah well done lads, result was all that mattered really, plus we played some nice stuff. On a more negative note, i don't think i will be at training wednesday, i have a back problem at the moment which was compounded in yesterdays game, saw a doctor today and he doesn't really know what the diagnosis is apart from maybe a muscle tear. I am praying its nothing serious as a desperately want to play Sunday although the likelyhood is it will take a couple of weeks to heal. Fingers crossed!

Shock horror: Saints actually won a game, kept a clean sheet and Ricardo Fuller scored, shame it was their reserves though!

hi lads, just thought i'd apologise 4 yesterdays non existant display but in the end i wasn't missed and the result was the right one. WELL DONE! Brynaldinho

you played the same as any other week. what you on about mush?

Mush?

A fine perfomrance lads. Could have done with a few more goals but a win is a win and to do so in such convincing fashion was down to hard work and discipline.

Does anyone know who we have next week?
