THE CHANDLERS FORD TOURIST BOARD......

Jay was lying horizontally in the back of Luke's car.
"Urrghhh," muttered Jay. "Stop going over bumps." Three days on the sauce had twisted his mind. A splash of rain had seen to the postponement of all football and this prospect to a seasoned player is that of a period of abstinence to a dry drunk; not conducive to rational behaviour.

Luckily Burridge had a distraction. After whiling away a few hours in the Cork and Bottle they headed to the decidedly more up market Pitcher and Piano. Many of their players were simply unable to adjust from their simple working class ways and hid among the shadows relieved to traverse the city to somewhere that suited their tendencies - the kind of place that makes Kelly's seem like the Ritz. It was of course the Wine bar of Fryern Arcade in Chandlers Ford.

I must say I didn't see anyone with a glass of wine, perhaps the proprietors were so shocked that they'd actually managed to get people to pay three quid to get into this dive that they hadn't actually ordered any Chateau la plonk. The whole strip was so quiet it made the Peartree in Boorley Green seem like a busy boozer. What a night.......

despite the disaster that was that wine bar in Chandlers Ford, i actually thought the night was a laugh, although quite what Nick was thinking inviting us all back to his place, i wouldn't imagine there was too much beer left.

I can't help thinking that Seymours might have provided us with a more suitable environment to drink our troubles away, Bryn i will never listen to you again, although i realise it was your birthday and sometimes exceptions have to be made.

A change is as good as a rest. I also re-introduced myself to gin & tonic; was anyone else wrecked?

Yes, i felt a bit delicate the following morning, i don't know what beer i was drinking towards the end of the night, but it certainly disagreed with my head.

Looking forward to Friday, although i might sit out blowcards cos im shit apparently! Besides i don't want to be half cut before i go out, wishing thinking hey.

Thank god i'm of an age that its still socially acceptable to fritty away hard earnt monies in dingy nightclubs, with elderly albeno women in the vicinity, to gain the head ache from hell the next day - Lordy!

Although on a more serious note, Chandlers Ford's premier nightspot advertised the selling of Pimms, but when i asked computer said no. Dear Dierdre should i sue them on the grounds of false advertising?

Luke, you really are a strange one. There I was New-Years Eve in the middle of Dykey's lounge with a beer in my right hand, the left in my pocket and my head nodding to the sound of Take That...and you said I was strange!

Wait a minute, that is strange! Sorry Luke.

I can't wait for Friday night's blow card session. I've been conditioning myself in preparation for this years celebrations.

Ok Frouster, I'm sure you know the old saying: R.I.C.E.

keep it iced, otherwise your corner kicks won't be as good! Only joking! Anyway, the general rule of thumb is; if Froudie can't play, our games are myseriously postponed. Do you have connections with the water board?

it must be an act of God - i've got connections !!

i have about 3 viruses that are complete pain in the asses and i have been trying to get rid of them in vain for about 2 weeks. i really dont want to deal with it anymore so i was wondering how to do that operation where the computer is set back to its original factory settings and the hard drive is competely cleaned. my dad has been saying something about needing a disk to do this but im pretty sure ive seen my brother reset his computer without it. also, should doing this completely get rid of the viruses? thanks in advance
